French top singer ‘Nillio’ released his pop song ‘”Prêt-à-Penser” Discover inspirational story !!!
JOURNALIST – What is your name and what city do you rep?
My name is Nillio, I’m french and I live in Lyon.
JOURNALIST – Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
My last release is “Prêt-à-Penser” and it is a french pop song about the fact that the people are trying to impose their opinions, that there are no space for debate and nuance. It is a serious subject but still we can dance on that track ! For that track I was inspired by what I observe everyday. Generally it is how I find my inspiration : observing the real world. Before that, I released a song called “Bleu”, and it is a little more based on emotion and describing loneliness.
JOURNALIST – What is unique about you and your music?
I want always meaning in the lyrics of my songs, it is the most important thing for me. And then we work on the music with my producer, for the form to serve the substance. I want my music to be meaningful and also entertaining, that’s what is unique about it.
JOURNALIST – When did you realise you were going to make music professionally?
I realised it quite late actually. I’m almost 26 today and I knew I would make music professionally 3 or 4 years ago. Before that, it was like an unreachable dream. Now I’m very happy to live that adventure and I just hope things will work out well for the project.
JOURNALIST – What type of music do you listen to?
Mostly I listen to pop and rap music. I’m an absolute fan of Stromae, Orelsan, Amy Winehouse, Lilnas X and Eminen. Also, I really like to go to classical music concerts. It is a unique experience, with a lot of intensity.
JOURNALIST – What inspires you to write music?
I’m searching in my daily life for things that might be interesting in a song. I’m always observing and taking notes on my phone. When you listen carefully, you can note that people are saying a lot of interesting stuff ! Sometimes they don’t even realize how insightful they are.
JOURNALIST – What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
It is not very original but I like doing sport. I’ve been playing football for ten years but now I just do fitness and jog. It helps me a lot to keep a certain balance in my life. Also, I’m passionate with Formula one, I don’t miss any Formula 1 Grand Prix ! And, I like to play video games when a great one is released. Recently I spend some good time on the fantastic “Elden Ring”.
JOURNALIST – What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
I’m just at the very beginning of my career so I don’t have a lot of advice to give. I would say : Just do it !
JOURNALIST – Where do we find you music / music projects?
My music is available on Youtube (Nillio_officiel) and every streaming plateform. You can also follow me on instagram ( @nillio_officiel )

Her debut in the music scene came in 2021 when she was featured on Long Beach Rapper Monsta Yo’s single “Don’t Wanna Lose You.” Then, in May 2023, she released her first single titled “Letter 2 My First Born,” a touching tribute to her son.
