Maria Labate shares a personal side with her latest new single “The Judge”
Rising young pop artist Maria Labate, will be releasing her latest single “The Judge” on March 18, 2022. In this new release, Maria Labate highlights her own mental health that often causes her to overthink her own thoughts and actions. It is a song about self-doubt, worries and anxiety. The song is sultry at times and soulful at others and highlights both her songwriting and vocal abilities.
Asked about The Judge, Maria Labate said “With this song, I wanted to share a bit of my own struggle and let everyone know that just because someone comes across as having it all together does not mean she doesn’t have internal battles they are fighting”.
About Maria Labate :
Maria Labate is a 15 year old singer/songwriter from Long Island, New York. She has gone viral many times on social media singing at home, often with a ukulele or guitar. Maria presently juggles the demands of high school with the demands of updating a social media account that has grown to nearly 90,000 followers (IG: @itsmarialabate).
Since starting her account, several of her cover videos including some of her mashup videos have gone on to reach several million viewers and peaked the curiosity of music industry insiders.
Maria is self-taught in various instruments, her music videos are often filmed in her bedroom or her parent’s car and have a rawness about them that viewers have come to love and appreciate.
