My name is Fros-T, Im outta Portland, OR
Journalist- Tell us about your new single. And what’s the story behind it?
The most recent release I had was Friday April 22nd, I released “Little Did You Know” which is a deep story of my life, my struggles, where I came from. It was inspired by my mother and the few I have left.
Journalist- What makes your music unique?
I feel like my music is unique just due to the fact it takes talent to sit down and write a song, if you can structure and build a well sounding song, that’s a very unique thing. Props to all artists.
Journalist- What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
I really started driving into music about 2 years ago. We used to freestyle everytime we get in the car, and I just grew a passion. Between the love for music and everybody telling me not to waste my talent, I went for it and we haven’t gone back‼️ I listen to a lot of east coast artists, old school hip hop, gotta say babytron my top artist currently.
Journalist- What inspires you to write music?
I’m inspired daily to make music by waking up with a roof on my head, a bed to sleep in, seeing another day. Life and lessons inspire you itself.
Journalist- What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
When I’m not making music, I spend time with my family, because that’s all who has your back at the end of the day. I am passionate about quality time while your here, because there’s no time to waste.
Journalist- What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
Man, I wish people would’ve told me ways I could’ve pushed my music for better numbers organically. There are so many fake accounts, bots, etc. that it is tricky to find trusting promotion!!

It’s been over three years since the death of George Floyd. The injustices
surrounding his murder, at the hands of police, sparked massive protests
worldwide. It once again put a terrifying spotlight on racism and inequality which
have become a disease in this country, alone.
“We Are Floyd” sheds light on these issues while paying homage to George.
Garnering attention since its release, the single has now charted in the Top 30 on
iTunes. The musical masterminds behind the single, U’Kno The Don and Nino
Khayyam, did an amazing job creating a record that brings heavy issues to light.
This song acts as an artistic tool to galvanize humanity to combat police brutality. In
the accompanying visual, U’Kno and Nino visually encapsulate the serious tone
behind the song’s message with cinematic, black-and-white visuals. Understanding
the impact of today’s current racial climate and tensions is critical, more than ever,
especially for the youth. U’Kno even features his own son in the video.
