Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today. You can include as little or as much detail as you’d like?
Well, in a nutshell I was an ordinary person that no one expected anything from.. Then one day I grew tired of a life of mediocrity and I pushed my limits and did what some would say is extra-ordinary. My breakthrough was through Faith and belief, and It allowed me to redefine what’s possible… I was raised by a single mother and we didn’t have much at all. But my mom worked hard for every little thing that we had, she instilled in me the importance of a strong work ethic and persistence and faith. Which is one of the big reasons I am who I am today..
Has it been a smooth road? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
ALL successful men and women in history have had failures to become successful. In fact these people I speak of failed more than they succeeded. Personally I’ve had serious pitfalls and setbacks all throughout my life and continue to face challenges. Job loss, Failed business endeavors, Heartbreaking disappointments etc…although they all hurt, I never gave up. it’s thorough your failure will you find out which direction not to go… And sometimes the pain or obstacles can make you stronger for the harder road ahead… look at it this way.. When you’re working out at the gym, you are intentionally pushing your muscles to the point of failure.. That’s where the adaptation is. Its only through failure can we experience growth
What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of as a company? What sets you apart from others?
Im an entrepreneur at heart and own multiple software companies, I have proprietary software that helps customers with issues with their mortgage in the form of DIY. I also have a mobile app in development that will change how we view social media in a positive way. We believe what sets us apart from the rest is improving the lives of customers through the use of technology, not degradation.. and I’m very proud in the success of my companies and the growth we have experienced and continue to become excited for the future.
How do you stay motivated?
Everyday I wake up while it’s still dark outside and I read or listen to inspirational and motivational videos. This gets me in the right attitude and ready to start my day and then I go to the gym right after. How you start your day is critical to how your day goes. Make sure to always stay positive and steer clear from negativity, the news, or other things that will drain your energy
What are your top three tips for young entrepreneurs?
You are who you choose to be at the end of the day. Listening to your associates, friends, or even family in regards to who you are is a death sentence. The only limits are the ones you impose on yourself. Write down your goals everyday if you have to. Whenever you get sidetracked or lose your mindset, remember your goals to stay focused. No matter where you are in your life you can make it! Keep your faith in yourself and faith in god and never stop working towards your dream no matter how small the step is each day.. I believe in you, so believe in yourself. So go out and get what’s yours.
