Q.It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I got here today by grinding , hustling , campaigning, shaking hands and kissing babies … I’ve fallen flat on my face and was able to pick myself up and continue .. I was a bad person once I was a dope dealer I was a pimp , I was disrespectful but I always handled good business and I’ve always been able to go out and get my own . I’ve been to prison . I’ve been up and down .. I released my fist project at 15 .. I’ve made the cover of Ace Magazine 2x . I made late night tv on EL SHOW DE LA NOCHE , I’ve been able to record music with verified artist as collabs .. P. daddy has posted me on his page .. I made a vow never to sell dope again .. “I stopped selling dope and started selling hope” this brings towards cheekofue #CHEEKOFUE
Q. Im sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I was found guilty of trafficking cocaine in the state of florida due to an informant and undercover police . I never told on anyone . I’ve had so much I’ve been so broke . When I had my son I was living in a car and attending school and still doing music . I’ve heard no atleast 100,000 times but I always continue to strive .
Q. Let’s talk about the work you do? What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I’m a rapper , musician , and most of all I’m an entertainer and I’m not afraid to be me which is all original .. I’m truthful to my self first which allows me to keep it a stack (keep it real) with others. I don’t talk I show and most of all I handle good business.. that’s why they should deal with me . Alotta folks out here after clout me I conduct good business.
Q.What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Persistence over resistance ! Resistance is a form of fear and don’t fear shit but god.You put on your own socks , draws, shoes and taktops don’t ever let anyone knock u off your horse.
5.Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success equals happiness .. money is a tool which people use to show success or thier form of happiness but for someone like me who has had and have not had success is happiness.
Q. What’s next for you?
More happiness to continue to be an inspiration to the world . CHEEKOFUE is here to uplift the youth . A story that people can release to that have been part of the same struggles .. I’m a realist and without god nothing is possible .. more success = more happiness.

Born James Allen Worthy on March 28, 1992 in Queens, New York, James began pursuing music at the age of 16. LOS ANGELES, CA – Rising hip-hop artist and social media influencer Marc “Mayjah” Payne unveils his latest studio album, Levels of Payne, a boundary-pushing musical journey that blends West Coast lyricism, Southern grit, and Caribbean soul. With high-profile features from New Orleans rap legend Shorty T and St. Lucia’s reggae ambassador Sifu Bosco, this project solidifies Mayjah Payne’s position as one of the most dynamic new voices in global hip-hop.
