On April 23, 2026, Dr. Ko-Cheng Fang, CEO of LongServing Technology, officially unveiled on the company’s website the 3D architectural diagram of its photonic chip (Figure 1), the photonic pathway design of its photonic chip (Figure 2), and a full-adder photonic chip structural demonstration (Figure 3). The disclosure presents, for the first time, the photonic pathway design and the complete system architecture of its photonic chip.

All three diagrams are personally designed by Dr. Fang, the inventor of the photonic chip.

Among them, the full-adder photonic chip design is also being revealed for the first time. The entire photonic circuit architecture has been reengineered into a 45-degree optical pathway configuration. To demonstrate the stacking capability of the photonic chip, the traditional planar structure has been transformed into a three-layer architecture:

• The bottom layer serves as photonic memory 
• The middle layer consists of photonic logic gates 
• The top layer is dedicated to photonic pathways 

Each layer is fabricated using three distinct photomasks, representing a new level of structural integration. For photonic chips, a three-layer structure is already sufficient—eliminating the need for the dozens of layers typically required in conventional electronic chips.

With the integration of photonic memory, computational performance has already reached hundreds of thousands of times faster than traditional electric chip. However, due to the instantaneous nature of light-speed data access, the true upper limit of performance remains extremely difficult to quantify.
