Interview with Flm Brooklyn-Rapper, Actor, Model

I’ve been in and out of the music industry due to various reasons but I first starting releasing music since the early 2000’s as a part of a four man hip hop group called Ghetto Mentality created in BrownsVille Brooklyn but we call it JuxVille Crooklyn, salute to Amboy Street, we released our first album N It 4 Life and our second album 13 1 Hit Wonders and we also released numerous singles and mixtapes.
What has gotten you to where you are today?
This current EP I released this past spring of this year is my first solo and debut project which is called The First Coming Plandemic 2021 and it has seven songs on this project
Where are you from?
I’m from the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, I’m originally from Boriquen Plaza Projects so much respect to Bushwick Ave. Humbolt Street McKibbin Street and Boreum Street.
I started just playing around with my rhymes recording music in my friend’s room where he had a beat machine and a 16 track recorder in the mid to late 90’s
How did you get into music?
Well I’m a poet by nature at heart and at first I was writing poems and then when I gravitated towards hip hop I started turning my poems into verses and then I would create a hook that matched what I was saying or talking about in my verses and that’s how my first songs were created
Well I’m a writer first and foremost so I listen to different genres of music from hip hop to r&b to gospel because I respect lyrics point blank period so I can be inspired by Anderson Paak, R J Payne, H.E.R. , Lecrae so on and so forth my range is vast.
What do you want people to take away after listening your music?
Basically im a free spirited person and an out of the box thinker so my message is honestly to get people to believe and uplift their self on a daily basis and to always reach and strive for greatness so if you feel something in your heart then take the necessary steps to make that your reality and don’t let anyone deter your mission.
My first full length album with be dropping next summer but I don’t have a name for it yet so in the mean time I’m still promoting my current EP The First Coming Plandemic 2021 which is out now on all digital streaming platforms and I’m promoting my website www.flmbrooklyn.com .
