1: Hi Collin thank you for doing this interview. Everyone starts somewhere. That being said, why did you decide to start making TikToks?

I was at wrestling practice and my friend and I talked about how crazy it would be to have 10,000 followers on TikTok. Within the next week I had 10,000 followers and it didn’t feel real. 

 

2:  When did you first start going Viral?

January 2, 2020 on TikTok. I have had other videos do very well on instagram that I was behind the scenes on and help with strategy, but this was when my videos started to gain traction. 

 

3:  Did you ever think you would build an audience of over a million people and what tips do you have for other people who want to build an audience of a million on TikTok?

Yes, I have taken a massive step back to evaluate the content I want to post and be more intentional with my message. Reaching a million is a must and will happen. My advice is to start. If you never start nothing will ever happen. 

 

4:  Have you been able to collaborate with any other TikTok influencers? If not, who would you love to collaborate with and why?

I don’t do in person collabs, but meeting up with other creators is the best. Going to LA and hanging out with talented creators and connecting on a deeper level is awesome. Having a platform opens up massive doors. 

 

5:  What advice do you have for those who experience the haters on social media? How do you deal with the Trolls? 

Hate comments = Engagement. I feel bad for people who comment hate because it comes from a place of deep insecurity. 

 

6:  What is your favorite part about TikTok? 

Anyone can be successful on TikTok. You can blow up overnight and your entire life can change from one video. Unlike other platforms where you need to pay to play, or have a lot of time and energy to create content, on TikTok it allows a wider range of talent to become someone from nothing.
