Daniel Gadson better known as recording artist King Grind is ready to carve his name in stone on the hip-hop walls of greats. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio but raised in Atlanta, Ga, the 24-year-old rap icon in the making got his first taste of making music at the age of 13. Inspired by the likes of Hip Hop royalty Lil Wayne and Young thug. King Grind took from Lil Wayne’s ability to make people think, and his ability to make one word mean 3 different meanings all in 1 take. With Young Thug, King Grind found himself interested in Young Thug’s ability to turn his voice into an instrument and say whatever he wants on the track without any remorse. With an influence from those two artists, he created his own persona. King Grind was born.

Motivated by his love of God and humanity, he reflects that he creates music to raise the vibration of earth and uplift the planet. His passion for music is led by spirit to change the world through his creations. Back in 2018 King Grind decided to take his music seriously and released his first project. The project was titled “Nah Saying”. His leading single off the project hit 8k streams after days of releasing it. Not bad for an indie artist that never put any music out before. King Grind also loves to express his ability to freestyle over beats. The first song he ever recorded professionally was actually a freestyle.

It’s 2022 and King Grind won’t be holding back any longer. With the release of his latest single “Chosen” King Grind has been buzzing harder than ever. The single “Chosen” has picked up some crazy traction since 2022 hit, already in rotation on numerous radio stations across the country and also landed a spot on Chicago’s hip-hop charts alongside mainstream artists. Don’t get comfortable for one hot second, we can guarantee the evolution of King Grind has just begun.
