Like Beats By The Pound were to 1990s New Orleans, The Mekanix are able to constantly create, supplying all acts differently. They have more than 1,000 placements ranging from Snoop Dogg, Icewear Vezzo, E-40, Too Short, Mozzy, Berner, Mac Dre to J.Stalin, Dave East, Tha Jacka and many more. Accomplished musicians, DJs, and producers, 4rAx and Kenny Tweed steadfastly fix and fine-tune the musical engines coming out of the Bay. Along the way, they have mentored J.Stalin, Beeda Weeda, and many more.  “You always hear that the Bay doesn’t work together,” says 4rAx,  “From day one, we’ve been doing albums full of different artists. We’ve been that unified front for the Bay.” From Dru Down to Lil Debbie, Iamsu to C-Bo, Kamayiah, Daboii and more. The Mekanix bridge the cities, the generations, and the styles of Northern California, one creation at a time.

Kick off the new year with a bang — the Bay Area production team, the Mekanix, has just released their first track of 2023, “18 Wheeler” featuring none other than two West Coast legends – E-40 and Mitchy Slick. The Mekanix have a signature sound that is timeless and known for their mob sound and basslines. Fans can look forward to their follow up album “Restoration 2” due this March, and much more!!!
