Get to know artist ‘Impakct’ his latest release ‘Automaton a 6 song EP’
Impakct is a Illy sounds recording artist, who has been independent for 20 years. Equipped with a raw lyrical delivery along with his energetic flow, creating a sound you just don’t hear in today’s hiphop. Somehow, Impakct , who’s real name is John Medeiros, find’s a way to balance a full time job along with being a father to his 2 children, and still find time to fulfill his passion as an MC.
His latest release is : Automaton a 6 song EP available now on all digital formats.
His inspiration came from real life experiences, and situations that I’ve been in over the years. He brings an authentic working class feel to his music. Anyone can relate to what he talks about. He is just trying to make stuff that he would want to hear . He decided to make music on a pro level when he didn’t like anything that he was hearing, new and exciting material was getting difficult to find. So he decided to make the music that he wanted to hear. He listens to all types of music. Depends on his mood. Life experiences inspire him to make music . He can’t make empty songs about money He doesn’t have and cars he don’t own . He tries to keep his music more grounded, and relatable.
When he is not doing music he is raising his kids and working full time. He also enjoy fitness and working on his old school car . He wish that he was told that you don’t need to fit into a mold in order to get noticed or create buzz . He always done his own thing and did so for so long that he thought that be was doing something wrong. He has stuck to his guns and created the music for him 1st and everyone else 2nd . Bottom line if you create something that is sincere and from your soul people will find it.
