Erdo “ERDO” Faraj, born November 7th 1991, is a Swedish-Iraqi singer and songwriter. ERDO was born in Sweden to Iraqi parents and was from a very early age involved in music thanks to them. His father is the well known Iraqi artist “Amir Al Iraqi”
After a year in the studio spending much time finding his own niche, ERDOs’ career took off in 2013 after the release of his debut EP “Infrared EP”, which included seven tracks all produced by the platinum producer Kawar KJ Yousef from State Crown Studio in Gothenburg. At the time of release, Erdo went under the stage name “Erdo Klein”.
The track “D*ug” topped the Swedish hit charts as it was picked up by Sveriges Radio P3, who also were the first to do an interview with ERDO. In 2014 ERDO released his single “Cleopatra” and decided shortly after that to take a break from music due to personal reasons. In November 2018 he managed to bring back summer vibes with his new single “BOYAH”, this time cutting off the Klein and going by his new stage name “ERDO”.
ERDOs time out the limelight is spent reinventing himself, taking much influence from the music he grew up with and loves to create but also contemporary influences that he can intertwine into a unique sound that appeals to the crowd regardless of genre.
