Journalist-Please, Introduce yourself?
My name is Sylvia G .
I’m a s singer songwriter from Switzerland.

Journalist-What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
I got into music quite late. I have no musical background and never dreamed of becoming a singer.
I’m shy and introverted. It’s definitely not something I ever imagined doing.But hey, life decided differently. A set of circumstances and encounters made me realize that singing would be my chosen path.

I think that music is the best way to convey a message. It highlights problems it shares emotions and can inspire people to change. And isn’t what change is all about? to grow and learn from the stupid stuff we did?
I always tried to write songs that express what I feel, my opinions, my fears and when I feel angry. I have felt a lot of anger lately. I have felt a lot of incomprehension on how so very stupid some people can be, on how totally ruthless selfish and uncaring they can act. That particular way of just not giving a ….
Today ignorance is no excuse. How can you be so blind.

Journalist-What makes your music unique?
I have no idea if my music makes me unique. It’s not for me to say.

Journalist- What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Be yourself, enjoy what you do.
And certainly don’t do it for fame.

Journalist-And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
Coldplay, snoop dog, The Weeknd , Eminem , Madonna

Journalist-Any upcoming projects?
I hope to record a new album, collaborate on new songs and go on tour.
