Toronto native ‘Dave Glizz’ drops his new single Skrtt Off
When you think of Toronto the first thing that comes to mind is musical icon Aubrey Graham, better know as ‘Drake’ or the 6god. Over the years people have been more intrigued with the talent North of the boarder, solely because of the light he has bestowed upon the city. Generations and generations to come will forever be acknowledged for the contributions he’s made not only for Toronto but for the Canadian nation.
Finding peace of mind through his music is something Dave Glizz focuses on continuously. Residing from one of the most notorious neighborhood’s in Canada ‘Rexdale’ a place plagued by poverty, drugs, & gun violence; being able to survive in that kind of environment takes a different level of determination. Instead of setting limitations for himself, he’s finding ways to excel and become successful in life and he’s showcasing that with his music.
“My music is everything to me, it’s the only way i can thoroughly express myself” he tells Leonard Magazine. Often compared to 6LACK & Tory Lanez, the similarities are far more noticeable as he continues to release music. His angelic melodies combined with his passionate verses captures his audiences effortlessly but also displays the rapper’s versatility to a tee. Determined to prove why his name belongs in that conversation has been something he’s willing to show.
His latest single ‘Skrtt Off’ was nothing short of extravagant. As he tells his story, we’re able to witness why he proclaimed a LEGENDARY status as we dig deeper into who he is. Fans are anxious to hear his new music, they want to connect on a deeper level.
